THE ROLE

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading retailer in a HR Manager capacity within a newly launched flagship store.  The role will allow the right individual to have a huge business impact and provide the ideal platform for future progression.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with retail staff to ensure successful outcome of change programmes in line with best practice
• Ensures recruitment and selection procedures result in the appointment of high calibre candidates
• Coaching and facilitating line managers to get the best from their teams
• Investigate employee issues; recommend and support the implementation of outcomes
• Provides HR advice to line managers and staff including employee relations/employment law, performance management
• Support the brand identity in all actions
• Raises standards and efficiency within the function by setting and managing the key HR priorities as identified in the Strategic People Plan
• Works within HR teams to raise standards within the function and improve the collective profile of HR within the business
• Acts as the conscience of the business in supporting corporate values of diversity and environmental protection

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Must have proven experience of HR and ER in a branded environment and a track record of delivery
• Strong ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Executes and delivers end results
• Excellent decision making ability and confidence under pressure.
• Ability to provide critical business support at all levels.
• Comfortable in dealing with conflict management
• Able to be responsive in a demanding operational environment
• Comfortable in working in a highly complex matrix organization
